The College of Law at the University of Karbala conducted the comprehensive exam for postgraduate students for the doctoral stage, with the participation of (17) male and female students from the branches of public and private law.
The Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Alaa Al-Hussaini, said that “the exam was conducted smoothly and according to the conditions and requirements of the comprehensive exam approved by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research with the aim of preparing students for the writing stage.”
Al-Hussaini added that (17) students participated in the exam, (6) students in the public law branch, and (11) students in the private law branch.
It is noteworthy that the doctoral student undergoes two exams in the comprehensive exam, one written and the other oral by a scientific committee to evaluate the student’s eligibility and start writing the thesis.
